    Our departments

    Business Development M&A

    Our Business Development team as its core focuson M&A, contributing to our long-term business strategy by evaluating potential markets for AlphaPet and developing our go-to-market strategies.

     

    The team supports the entire M&A process - from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiating and financing acquisitions and taking over the project management of post-merger-integration.

     

    In addition, the topics of investor relations as well as communication wit our investors and the support of our shareholders are located here.

    Purchasing

    The Purchasing Team deals with the significant management of the value and supply chain within our holistic global purchasing strategy. To this end, it pursues one mission: strategic procurement.

    In addition, the Purchasing Team takes care of the management and negotiation of our suppliers, products and components, so that we achieve a strengthening of our synergy effects and achieve savings potentials for the entire AlphaPet Group and new Group companies.

    Product Development

    Product development - from the idea to market analysis and recipe development including packaging design to the final market launch for all our private label products.

    In addition, our Product Development team works on the further development and revision of our existing private label range and ensures that our products are in line with our market positioning.

    Brand Management

    The Brand Management Team is responsible for the development of our pet food brands and the strategic establishment and expansion of brand positions.

    In addition, our team works on new branding strategies, new marketing strategies and their implementation and is responsible for the management of all relevant online and offline communication channels.

    Online Retail

    The Online Retail division focuses on efficient brand relations, management to our partner brands as well as the optimization of an efficient implementation of the sold measures.

    Our platforms act as a "playground" for technical improvements and tests, enabling us to achieve constant growth and optimization.

    E-Commerce

    The E-Commerce division combines the acquisition of new customers (D2C) and the long-term retention of our customers in our stores, business and products. In addition, the teams support our D2C customers with feed consulting questions and problems.

    The team is responsible for creating and optimizing an engaging online shopping experience for our customers and manages the products, product categories, content and product listings in our stores.

    IT

    Under this team lies not only the management of all current and future IT projects, but also the design, development and operation of our robust, secure yet flexible IT infrastructure and the ERP system on which our entire business depends.

    IT also provides business-critical BI solutions that help the company make informed decisions and drive new growth.

    Supply Chain Management

    Sourcing resources for all brands and ensuring smooth flow of orders throughout the supply chain and optimizing existing supply chains from suppliers to warehouse locations to B2B and B2C customers.

    The logistics center in Leipzig is responsible for all processes from the storage of our products to the packaging and shipping of our goods.

    Finance

    The Finance team is divided into Accounting & Controlling. The teams are responsible for checking and posting all sales, incoming payments and ensures regular reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts.

    Controlling takes care of regular financial and operational reporting and analysis of our business, performance and processes.

    People & Organisation

    The People Team takes care of the consulting & support of our employees, executives and management.

    It is responsible for the holistic recruiting process, HR marketing and employer branding. In addition, our People & Culture Managers take care of all personnel-related issues along the entire employee life cycle and promote the well-being of our employees with the help of our internal Feel Good Managers.

    B2B Sales

    The B2B Sales teams are the first point of contact with our key accounts and small independent pet stores and are responsible for our sales to these customers.

    A core task is to close contracts with new customers and improve new point of sales availabilities together with our existing retail partners. In addition, they work to develop and maintain our B2B operations & inbound sales and handle direct sales to pet specialty retailers and grocery retailers.
